Most buses run at intervals between 10 and 20 minutes during the day, but are less frequent in the evenings (after 7.00pm) and on Sundays. Make sure you have the correct change as Lothian and most First Buses do not give change.
If you're heading further a field, you can buy your coach tickets for Scottish and UK travel from the bus station in St Andrew Square in advance.

Bus Tours
You can also take in the sights of the city on one of the many Edinburgh bus tours. City Bus Tour tickets can be bought in person at the Edinburgh and Scotland Information Centre, 3 Princes Street or on Waverley Bridge, which is where the tours start.
